Medium Bark Tan Deerskin, Whitetail Leather

This medium bark tan deerskin is all naturally tanned with hemlock bark and sumac leaf. It is very supple, of medium thickness and of a reddish tan color. Some knife scoring on one flank but the rest of the skin is free of imperfections other than some minor barb wire scars. A nice skin for bags or footwear where less thickness and more suppleness is needed. Finished with canola oil and egg yoke. A little darker than other skins due to an extra oiling.
